Abstract

This paper presents a maximum constant boost control scheme for Z – source half bridge converter, which can produce maximum voltage gain under given modulation index. The proposed control scheme is maintained constant shoot through duty ratio and minimizes the voltage stress across the switches. This topology boost the input voltage with less commutation count and eliminate low frequency ripple. The MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation results and experimental results are presented to validate the performance of the proposed control scheme.
